Kunkhet Valley Resort is situated on the banks of the Kosi River in front and the Reserve zone of Sitabani Zone on another side. KVR Provides the unique living experience of staying right next to the river and lush green jungle at the back. Kunkhet is a small village only 7 km away from the famous Dhangahri gate (Dhikala) of the Dhikala Range. On Ramnagar-Ranikhet Highway, Kunkhet valley resort is a place away from the city and deep in the Jungle and very famous for birds and a wide variety of wild animals that roam freely in the area. Kunkhet Valley Resort is the Only Pure Vegetarian Resort in the Jim Corbett National Park All our food is cooked without Garlic and Onion, As a philosophy and our love towards the jungle and its habitants, we at Kunkhet Valley Resort do not serve or allow any Non-Vegetarian food even from outside.

How to Reach Kunkhet Valley Resort

Kunkhet valley resort is a small village 7 km away from Dhangarhi gate of Dhikala range. This place is between Ramanagar-Ranikhet highway and you have to reach Ramanagar first.


By Air– The closest airport to kunkhet valley resort is 85 km away from Corbett national park at Pantnagar. It is the domestic airport which is closest airport to Corbett National Park.


By Railway– The closest railway station to Kunkhet valley resort is Ramnagar railway station which is 12 km from Dhangarhi (Dhikala) gate, Corbett national park and 30 km from the resort.


By Road– If you want to come by car from Delhi to the resort then it will take around 6-7 hours and the distance is around 300 kms. The route covers the locations like Gajaraula, Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar.

Parking and transit details

Being a riverside resort, parking is above the terrain on the other side of the river. Please call the resort when you are about to reach resort or when you have reached Mohan checkpost, so that your gypsy pick up can be arranged with minimum wait time. Drop in and drop off from parking is by resort's vehicle itself.

(Please note that during monsoon season (July-October), river level is high due to heavy rainfall, so gypsy route via river crossing is not available. Transit from parking to resort is done via an alternative route through kunkhet village by resort's motorcycles.)
